Family Jäger

Our joint mission and vision: Ensure that our guests have an unforgettable time here in the Jägeralpe. An experience that lasts.

Four hearts for a Hallelujah!

Your hosts

Oswald, Jasmin, Oskar sen. and Johanna gladly we can now count two more little hearts to the family, Oskar jun. 9 years and Marilena 6 years!

Oskar and Oswald are always the first to arrive in the morning, making sure that all guests have a fantastic breakfast. With advice and ideas on what to do, e.g. about guided hikes or mountain tours in summer or in winter, on which days it is best to set off into the "white ring" around the Arlberg. They are happy and not afraid to pass on the best tips. During the day, Oskar can often be found in the family's own mountain restaurant "Hochalp" when he is not showing our homeland to our guests on a guided hiking tour and is always ready for a bit of fun.

His son Oswald is a sommelier and is passionate about recommending fine wines. His great love is for Austrian wines. At lunchtime in winter he is busy in the restaurant, often at the pizza oven. Cooking is also one of Oswald's great passions and, alongside aviation, one of the things he likes to talk about. He qualified as a helicopter pilot in 2009 and has regularly flown over the Alps with guests ever since. He used 2020 for pilot training for motorised aircraft.

Johanna also welcomes you to our Jägerstube restaurant at lunchtime. She always keeps an overview and ensures that all guests quickly find a cosy seat. In summer, she is happy to tell you where the best places for blueberries and lingonberries are.

A special hobby of Johanna's are her homemade candles, which can be admired in the hotel. Johanna and Oskar are keen golfers, which is why they can often be found on the golf course in Lech (13 km).

Jasmin loves chatting to guests and has a good sense of what tips she can use to make them happy. Entrust her with your wishes. During the day, she likes to help out in the restaurants and prepare the next post and photo for Facebook or Instagram. In summer, she likes to take her guests on smaller activities in the midst of nature, such as making wreaths or showing them the most beautiful places on the Tannberg. Her two children, Oskar and Marilena, are often there too. Whether hiking, watering flowers or decorating, the two of them bring life into the house with their temperament.

For our many long-standing employees, this family bond is a real asset that nobody would want to miss and that makes working in a family business so enjoyable and valuable. Our long-standing employees are much more than just that, they are part of our extended family and together with us do everything they can to ensure that all our guests feel completely at home.

For generations, the Jägeralpe has stood for heartfelt hospitality and culinary delights. And we have a vision:
Our guests should have an “experience that lasts”.
